Amaala 6 Senses

Amaala 6 Senses

The brief

Amaala, one of the Red Sea’s most ambitious ultra-luxury developments, is setting new global standards in sustainability and wellness. As part of this mission, the Six Senses Spa at Amaala was designed to offer a deeply immersive hydrothermal experience.

ASPA International was appointed as the spa consultant, overseeing the design, specification, and operational strategy for the hydrothermal zones — ensuring both excellence in client experience and advanced environmental stewardship.

What we did

Hydrothermal Wellness Zones
• Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, salt sauna wall
• Steam cabin with aroma, air injection, and cooling features
• Cold plunge pools, vitality pools, Kneipp walk
• Ice fountain and snow fountain integration
• Hammam with zoned radiant heating (bench, scrub, walls, floor)

Each space was engineered to allow personalised user control while maintaining optimal energy performance.

Advanced Control Systems
• Multi-level touch screen control panels across spa zones
• VNC Viewer remote maintenance integration
• User access hierarchies (guest, staff, technical)
• Automated sequences for start-up, shutdown, and cleaning
• Language-adaptive interactive screens for client guidance and compliance

The result

The Amaala Six Senses Spa now stands as a global model of luxury hydrothermal wellness paired with ecological integrity.
Through ASPA’s systems-led consultancy, the spa offers an ultra-luxurious, seamlessly automated user journey — all while reducing its environmental footprint through intelligent water and energy design.
